Painting lessons on Texel

From September 2021 I will start at Artex with a new range of painting lessons in groups for adults, children and young people. On Thursday evening the course 'Learn to draw' takes place, on Thursday and Friday morning there are painting and drawing groups, on Friday afternoon the combined group Kunstkids / YoungArt has drawing and painting lessons.
For whom
Drawing and painting club: Beginners and advanced are welcome. I also work with appropriate methods for students who have never drawn or painted. There is a lot of attention for technology. This includes: how do you set up a painting and what materials do you use. Attention is paid to composition, form, light/dark and color. For advanced students, guidance can focus on specific aspects or topics, for example portrait painting and handwriting. In the first three lessons you work with assignments, after that you work on your own topics.
The course 'Learn to draw' is partly based on the insights of Dr Betty Edwards drawing method "Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain".  The course

Private coaching: painting, but not in a group? 

This form of guidance is for those who prefer individual guidance, for example because of Covid19. Or maybe you want to paint at home, but you need coaching so that you can actually get started. Maybe you have a specific question in the field of painting and you want to get started with it. Or you are on holiday on Texel and want to be personally and intensively supervised. Whatever your reason, I may be able to help you. 
How does that work?
Private coaching: you will receive a month of guidance, focused on your level and wishes. This is possible in my studio on Texel, or at an inspiring outdoor location, or at your home, at a time that suits you. It is flexible, you agree the coaching per month. The supervision consists of a meeting of one and a half hours and in addition weekly call, mail or app contact during that month. The costs are €50 per month. Other forms of individual guidance can of course be discussed.
